How often do you see pre loved items left to gather dust or thrown onto the garbage heap just because they don’t serve a purpose or somebody doesn’t need them anymore?

How can you take these things that may seem to you and other people, pretty stink and boring, and re-craft them to be different, cutting edge, 21 century items that have been given a new lease of life?

1.           In the garden-You have been asked by Peter Jackson to decorate his garden area with up-cycled items to make it a bit crazy and weird, but still be an epic space at the same time. For example using old boots or shoes as planter boxes.

2.           Around the house-There are heaps of rooms in a house that could be made that a bit cooler and special when furnished with a touch of up-cycling. For example old pallets made into an ottoman.

3.           Save the environment - HELP!!! There is way too much plastic clogging up our landfills, coastlines, parks and streets man!!! How can we re-purpose these items to serve a greater purpose? AND look cool at the same time. For example plastic bags sewn together to make a stylish shoulder bag.

4.            Knick Knack Knock-Up (cycle) –

Knick knack- N. small worthless objects, especially household ornaments.

Hmmm… “worthless objects” – yeah right. I am sure that with your superb creative thinking, you could transform something worthless into something with incredible worth.

5. Arty Farty Adornments-Today’s clothing and fashion is so 2014 man. How can you re-vamp some of today’s clothing styles to be made to your own styles? Or use them to create something totally  different?
